يشبهون غيرهم من الامم وكذلك أهل مصر أيضا غير أن أهل مصر نشؤوا فى الحرارة والترك فى البرودة
أما تربة أرض الترك فصحراء ذات مروج وتدعى مرجية
ان أغذية هؤلاء القوم وسنتهم هى على ما ذكرت ان أزمان أمم الترك وصورهم مخالفة لغيرهم من سائر الناس يشبه بعضها بعضا وكذلك أهل مصر يشبه بعضهم بعضا لا تنتج بلادهم صغارا ولا كبارا فهذا هو آخر القول
ان بلاد موسومة تحت الفرقدين وهى جبال من حيث تهب الشمال
ان الشمس اذا غابت قريبة منهم فى الفصول الصيفية فتسخنهم زمنا يسيرا سخونة غير شديدة
