والخريف كمثل كان الشتاء اضطرارا سقيما ويعرض للبلغميين والشيوخ أبناء أربعين سنة حمى لهبة تسمى قوسوس فأما أصحاب المرة الصفراء فيعرض لهم ذات الجنب ووجع الرئة
انه اذ كان الصيف كثير الامطار وكان جنوبيا وكان الخريف كثير الامطار شماليا عرض للناس فى الشتاء وجع الرأس وداء فى الدماغ يقال له سفقلوس وسعال وبحوحة وزكام ويعرض السل أيضا لبعضهم
اذا كان شماليا يابسا ولم يمطر عند طلوع
