وهذا النوع من الذبول خاص بسن المشايخ، لا سيما إن كانت فى بعض نواحى الصدر والرئة علة. ومن أصابه هذا الصنف من الذبول فإن الصلابة التى تورثها الحمى للعروق تبقى فيها محفوظة. على أن النبض متفاوت.
وفى أفراد من أصحاب الذبول يتغير النبض إلى صنف من الاختلاف سوى هذا الاختلاف العارض فى العظم الذى ذكرناه.
