القول الثالث من الجزء الثانى يذكر فيه الماء المطرى
ان مياه الامطار خفيفة عذبة نيرة جدا: ان الشمس تختطف أولا من الماء رقيقه وخفيفه والدليل على ذلك الماء المالح فانه يبقى على حاله لثقله وملوحته وغلظه فأما الرقيق الخفيف فان الشمس تختطفه لرقته
ان الشمس تصعد هذا الماء. ليس من الانهار وحدها لكن من البحور أيضا وكل المواضع الرطبة والرطوبة
