θεωρίας ἐγνωκέναι διέλθω, μετὰ ταῦτά τε τῶν φαρμάκων
ἑκάστου πάσας ἐπέλθω τὰς δυνάμεις. ἔσται δὲ τοῦτο διὰ βιβλίων,
ὡς οἶμαι, τῶν πάντων ἕνδεκα τηλικούτων μάλιστα τὸ
μέγεθος ἡλίκον καὶ τοῦτό ἐστι τὸ πάντων πρῶτον. ᾧ μέτρον
ἤδη τὸ δέον ἔχοντι τελευτὴν ἐπιτίθημι ταύτην αὐτῷ
τὴν ῥῆσιν.
