قال أبقراط إنّ الصبيّ يمرض في الرحم إذا ضاقت عليه ناحية من النواحي شبه ما ينبت في الأرض فإنّه إذا اضطرّ بين حجرين تعوّج ورقّ من مكان وثخن من آخر وكذلك يصيب الصبيّ إذا ضاق عليه موضع الرحم
وربّما كان الإنسان ناقصاً فولد له ولد تامّ.
